Literature Text

Mirror in the sky
breakin' glass
Rides the wind
free at last

Reflections on a journey
watchin' you
Embrace and conquer
a part of you

Mirrored fragments
drown in your eyes
Capture your mind
with distorted finds

Never clear
whats there, whats here
Always afraid
of nothing to fear

Looking through
a strangers eyes
Completely taken
to fantasize

Mirrored fragments
inhabit your soul
Cut your heart
have taken their hold

Lyrics from a song written when I was a child inspired by an Anderson Fairy Tale.

These are lyrics from a song that I wrote as a child inspired from a story from a book of Anderson Fairy Tales that my Aunt gave me for Christmas when I was five years old. I read this now and wonder how I could see what I saw at such a young age. It's a mystery truly. My favorite lyric that I wrote in this song is "always afraid of nothing to fear" ~ I think this describes the human condition quite well. This lyric is about illusion and how all of us spend most of our lives mired in it. The image is from an ANDERSON FAIRY TALE book.
